Activity Reporting

What should we do with partners’ reports?

The Activity Monitoring Guideline and the NZAID Guideline: Contract Management Roles and Responsibilities (available to NZAID staff only) provide guidance on the use of reports as part of an overall approach to monitoring. NZAID’s key responsibilities include:

  • to take necessary action (such as resourcing or prioritisation decisions within NZAID, raising issues with partners, or meaningful participation in project coordination committees or their equivalent) in response to issues raised in reports or coming to NZAID attention from other sources
  • to provide timely feedback to partners on reports and on important developments from NZAID’s perspective
  • to keep records of monitoring and of NZAID’s judgement of ongoing Activity performance against the criteria in the Activity Monitoring Guideline
  • to record relevant issues and assessments in the team’s Contract Management Spreadsheet (see the NZAID Guideline: Contract Management Roles and Responsibilities).
