About ADAF-PSD

The Asia Development Assistance Facility - Partnerships for Sustainable Development (ADAF-PSD) provides funding opportunities for New Zealand organisations that have established a partnership with an organisation from an eligible country in the Asia region. It is targeted towards the New Zealand private sector, Crown entities (for example Crown research institutes and universities), and Government departments.

The facility recognises that New Zealand organisations may have the networks and expertise to respond effectively to development priorities in Asia by contributing knowledge, skills and innovative approaches that enhance in-country initiatives to reduce poverty.

The goal of ADAF-PSD is to contribute to the reduction of poverty in Asia with efforts that focus on the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The objective is to contribute to a reduction in poverty through projects in targeted countries that respond to development priorities, build capability, enhance self reliance; and enhance the impact of strategic initiatives.
