Annex 1: Recommended Format for ToR

Purpose
A succinct statement of why the Community of Practice was formed (e.g. The xx CoP has been formed to provide a forum for learning and to support the implementation of ….)
Objectives
Succinct statements of key work components the CoP will undertake to achieve the purpose. Ideally, try and keep to three or four objectives at most.
Background
Briefly outline the background and context for the CoP being formed, including any relevant Cabinet, Ministerial, AIDMGT decisions and international development drivers for the work.
