What does this guideline cover?
This guideline has a general introduction setting out the key elements of In-Country Managed Grant Funds. It is a principles-based Guideline on designing Funds, not a series of templates, and covers areas such as principles of good fund design and practice; fund criteria and delivery mechanisms; and resource management implications.
This guideline on design will be supplemented by a further guideline providing information on NZAID’s contracting, financial, and accountability requirements for In-Country Managed Grant Funds.
What will this guideline do?
This guideline will assist NZAID staff and consultants to design in-country managed funds which are based on sound design and implementation principles and practices.
Who is this guideline for?
This guideline has been prepared for NZAID Managers, DPMs, and other NZAID staff involved with in-country managed funds; or for consultants who are designing in-country managed funds. NZAID staff may be actively involved in the design process, or managing consultants who are designing in-country managed funds.
