What does this guideline cover?
This guideline sets out the minimum structural requirements for an evaluation or review report. It should be read in conjunction with documentation specifying the requirements for each report, including the required quality standards e.g. the DAC Evaluation Quality Standards.
What will this guideline do?
This guideline will assist NZAID staff, partners and consultants to prepare evaluation and review reports in a way that they:
- enable searching effectively through reports to draw out cross-organisational learning
- reflect NZAID professionalism by being well written and in an appropriate style
- ensure that sensitive information is managed carefully to ensure that the report can be made available publically.
Who is this guideline for?
All Team Leaders, Development Programme Managers and Officers, and Post Managers should ensure that NZAID staff are aware of the guideline and how to access it from the Tools Website. A copy of this guideline may be given to partners, and to consultants involved in carrying out reviews and evaluations for NZAID.
